Universities
The ESU runs the national university championships in debating and mooting (mock legal argument), but also draws on the expertise of the UK university debate community to support its wider work. University students act as mentors at Discover Your Voice workshops and during the Schools Mace Road Show, and they form part of the ESU Speech and Debate Squad which supports the persuasive English activities of international ESUs around the world.
