Farming Scholarship

The ESU Farming Scholarship offers a 2 month placement that includes farms around Buenos Aires (including, dates allowing, the Palermo Cattle Show), in the La Pampas region and the Cordoba Province. Accommodation is with farming families so there is plenty of opportunity to learn not only about farming, but also about the country’s culture. A basic knowledge of Spanish is an advantage but not essential. The placement is run through The English-Speaking Union (ESU) in London, an educational charity which aims to promote international understanding through English, with the programme in Argentina organised by ESU Argentina. A knowledge of farming is essential and the course normally runs in August, September and October.
