The British Morehead-Cain Scholarships to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are among the worlds most generous and prestigious university scholarships, providing up to four places each year, fully funded, for selected British school leavers to pursue a first degree programme at UNC.

All secondary schools in the United Kingdom are eligible to nominate students for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship. All nominees should show evidence of outstanding achievement in the four criteria for the Morehead-Cain: leadership, scholarship, moral force of character and physical vigour.

Interviews for the British Morehead-Cain Foundation scholarships are held at Dartmouth House in November each year. The interview panel includes alumni of the programme.
