ESU Speech & Debate Squad
Every year the English-Speaking Union selects a group of university students for its Speech and Debate Squad. Members of the Speech and Debate Squad are sent on tours around the world, teaching debate and public speaking and acting as ambassadors for the ESU. Working with people from all walks of life, squad members are given the opportunity to develop their own skills while training others. In the past few years members of the Speech and Debate Squad have visited countries all over the world, including Mexico, Mauritius, Lebanon, Mongolia and Japan.
